DevCarters exists because too many small and mid-sized businesses get stuck choosing between an agency they can't afford and a page builder their business outgrows in a year.
We build the same way we'd want it built if it were our own product: properly architected, honestly scoped, and handed over in a state someone else could maintain.
That means a Next.js and React stack instead of a proprietary platform, a fixed price instead of an open-ended hourly clock, and direct access to the person writing the code instead of a project manager relaying your questions.
We work with service businesses, retailers, healthcare practices, and small teams: anyone who needs a website or application to actually run part of their business, not just exist. Most of the people we build for don't have a website yet. A smaller number have one that's stopped doing its job. Either way, the process is the same.
